360 SHS COVID-19

Protecting Seniors from Corona Virus (COVID-19)

At 360 SHS, we are dedicated to our senior population, and as such we have taken proactive measures during this difficult time to support our clients and families. We recommend that professionals and families take the following into account when considering ways to provide care to aging patients and loved ones to mitigate the risks of COVID-19 and other infectious diseases.

When thinking of care solutions, consider home care as a viable option due to its ability to keep seniors safe in their own home by promoting social distancing. Our caregivers are able to provide necessary assistance with the Activities of Daily Living in the comfort and relative safety of our clients’ own homes. Caregivers can pick up medications, groceries, and anything else our clients need, minimizing their interaction with large groups of people.

In some instances as of late, medical facilities have experienced higher volumes of concerned patients, and assisted living, as well as skilled nursing facilities across the country, are significantly limiting all visitation and contact with the outside world to reduce the risk of person to person transmission within their vulnerable communities. We understand this challenge and want to assist in anyway possible to fill the care needs of our senior population at home.

360 SHS Helps Protect Clients From COVID-19

All caregivers and internal office staff have received communication regarding:

      • Symptoms of COVID-19
      • Safety protocols
      • Travel reporting requirements
      • Proper handwashing techniques
      • Respiratory etiquette
      • Warning signs of illness
      • Infection control protocols, including effective cleaning and disinfecting of surfaces and hands

We will not place any caregiver with a client for a minimum of 14 days or until cleared by a medical provider if they have:

      • Been exposed to a facility where COVID- 19 is being treated
      • Traveled to a location on the CDC advisory list in the past two months or had a family member travel to one of these locations
      • Started showing symptoms or tested positive for the illness.

Now, more than at any time, senior home care should be considered.  360 SHS stands at the ready to help care for any client in need of assistance in their homes. Please call our office today for more information. 1-603-801-1936
