Come join Judy Loubier as she gives a free talk on the latest research on Alzheimer’s and presents an opportunity to share the struggles and the joy of caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s Disease.  When your parent or spouse has dementia and is increasingly confused, it can be hard to remember the person they were before the disease took over.  Your parent may be ‘different’ than the person you have always known, but they still long for connection and companionship.  Nurturing is a crucial part of what makes life worth living for all of us.  Connecting with others is at the core of our humanity and it remains the same when a person has dementia.

Judy possesses a wealth of ideas on connecting. Ideas for how you can grow that connection with your loved one, despite the advancement of the disease.
